Where Is …
In the April 2012 issue we started the “Where Is” column. We want to track and document old settlements/communities in Iowa County. So if you know the place, let us know. We’d like as much information as possible, so include things like the location and origin of this name and where you learned this information. (This can be from “family lore”, newspaper, book or other source.)

The Iowa County Historical Society publishes a quarterly newsletter which is mailed to members. In addition to announcements about upcoming activities, recent research and acquisitions are often described.
