The Dodge Mining Camp Cabin is a great short cut into the minds, daily lives and building practices of the people who settled in the lead region of Southwest Wisconsin.

Built in October 1827 by Henry Dodge and his mining party, this cabin has been restored as an interpretive site.

If not open when you arrive at 205 East Fountain Street in Dodgeville, WI., call or email the Iowa County Historical Society for a tour.

Open 1-4pm Wednesdays and Thursdays
May 15 through September 15.
